An individual’s skill set might not be of much use if he/she can’t work in a team. To forge teamwork, a group activity was designed for grade 9. They were split into 3 teams; each team was an advertisement agency. Each team chose a product, scripted an advertisement and enacted it. No help was taken from the adults, everything was done by the children themselves.
The microphone advertisement incorporated the present-day teacher-student zoom session. The hair oil advertisement was trying to capitalize on receding hair. There was telemarketing too! With such scripting, acting and marketing finesse, it is no surprise thatwe thoroughly enjoyed our commercial break! This outcome would not have been possible without perfect teamwork!As the adage goes, “Teamwork divides the effort but multiplies the effect.”
