International Yoga Day 2021
What better day than International Yoga Day 2021 to introduce you to our yoga curriculum?! Bearing in mind the holistic well-being of children, yoga was made a part of our curriculum in 2006. Ever since, EVERY morning, during school hours, children practised yoga: asanas, pranayama (breathing), meditation.
To mark Yoga Day, children spoke about breathing techniques, asanas, flow of Surya Namaskaram, and the significance of yoga. It was an effortless activity for them owing to their regular yoga practice. You will be impressed to learn that our children still continue their daily yoga ritual.
Here’s a sneak peek of our Yoga Day celebration: tiny tots flaunting yoga poses and higher-grade children posing with their yoga-themed artwork. Happy Yoga Day, everyone! Breathe in, breathe out…

We are relieved that we have taught our children yoga, given that doctors are now reiterating the significance of pranayama in enhancing ones lung capacity (which is the need of the hour in this horrid COVID time).
